Camp Exposure Educational Football Camp
Camp Exposure Academy is a three-year development program centered on exposing underserved student-athletes to the knowledge needed to discover their identity beyond sports and how to develop and direct their God-given gifts into a professional career. Our three-year program consists of 150 student-athletes participating in forty-four educational workshops and round table discussions with opportunities to receive mentorship, internships, employment opportunities, and exposure to diverse environments. The forty-four workshops are centered around the seven pillars of The Camp Exposure organization. During their senior year, our student-athletes participate in The Camp Exposure Educational Sports Camp.
BUILDING A FOUNDATION
Throughout our camps, our primary focus is foundation building. We help student-athletes discover who they really are beyond the pads, balls, and athletic performances. Not only do we help them discover that identity, but we also equip them with tools and techniques to help them battle the mental war they can go through in this transition. We make sure our athletes understand God has blessed them with so much more beyond sports, and they have a purpose here on this earth.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Not only do we prepare our student-athletes by helping them discover their identity, but we also expose them to professional development workshops to help them develop their professional brand beyond sports. Throughout the camp, we surround our campers with successful professionals and businesses to give them the opportunity to learn what it takes to succeed in those professions, and the opportunity to network and create relationships for possible mentorship. On the final day of our Camp, our campers will have the opportunity to partake in a career fair and be exposed to multiple career opportunities to pursue after sports.
SERVANT LEADERSHIP
On the last day of our camps, our high school campers lead a kid's camp where they get to grow in their servant leadership. As leadership and character development are a focus throughout the camp, we put an emphasis on leading by example with your actions. On the last day, our student-athletes get to put it on display. We are looking to create a continuous cycle of generations understanding the importance of giving back to your community and pouring into the youth. Kid's from ages 5-13 are welcomed for both genders regardless of the sport.
