WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

OUR HISTORY

Camp Exposure was created in 2018 by President and Founder Tyler Patmon and his wife, Tiffany Patmon. With the goal of helping all youth discover their God-given gifts and talents and develop into successful young men and women, they started Camp Exposure. To further the mission of building a community of support to surround his goal, Tyler was inspired to partner with his college teammates and his best friends Jeremiah Hatch and Lubbock Smith III.

Together, sharing a passion for supporting the youth of their communities, Camp Exposure was taken to the next level and became the organization it is today.

It continues to grow with their dedication and the support of the many volunteers and community members that share their vision.

Our Mission

Camp Exposure is a faith-based, holistic youth development program exposing underserved student-athletes to the knowledge needed to discover their identity beyond sports. With a lack of belief in having purpose or worth outside of sports, generations of athletes have fallen victim to being solely focused on their performance in the arena and have neglected their personal & professional development outside of the arena. Camp Exposure focuses on helping the youth discover and develop their God-given gifts into a professional career and successful life. The Camp Exposure holistic approach focuses on building a foundation centered around our seven pillars. Identity, Mental & Spiritual Health, Nutrition, Relationship Skills, Professional Development, and Financial Literacy.

"Student-athletes invest an average of 23 hours per week into developing as athletes. Unfortunately, only .00043% will become professional athletes despite the time invested. In disadvantaged communities, these student-athletes can believe they have no purpose or worth outside of sports, see it as their only way out, and neglect their development outside of the arena. Camp Exposure focuses on helping these student-athletes discover their identity beyond sports and how to take their God-given gifts and direct them into a professional career and successful life."
